Welcome

A B2B account lets your shop order Thomas Dambo books and products online at wholesale prices, any time, without emailing us. You apply once, we review and activate your account, and you log in with your email. Check your details once, and from then on you add to cart and check out. Existing customers already have an account and can go straight to logging in.

This guide is for museums, gardens, gift shops, bookstores and other retailers who resell Thomas Dambo products to their visitors.

What you get with a B2B account

• Wholesale prices, visible only when you are logged in
• Your order history and easy reorders
• Tax-exempt checkout once your resale certificate (US) or VAT number (EU) is on file
• Pay by card, or on invoice once your account is set up for it

Get started in 6 steps

1. Apply for a B2B account. US and Canada: us-shop.thomasdambo.com/b2b-apply. Europe and rest of world: shop.thomasdambo.com/b2b-apply. Fill in:
   • Company and contact person
   • Email (this becomes your login) and phone (optional)
   • Address, postal code, city and state (two letters)
   • EIN
   • Resale certificate: upload a PDF, JPG or PNG (max 2 MB). You can also add it later in your profile.
   Tick the box if you want our B2B newsletter, then click Send application.
2. We review your application. We check your details and resale certificate by hand and email you when your account is active, usually within 3 working days. Already a customer of ours? We have set up your account for you, so skip to step 3.
3. Log in with your email. Go to us-shop.thomasdambo.com/b2b-login (EU: shop.thomasdambo.com/b2b-login). Enter your account email and click Send login code. We email you a six-digit code. Enter it and you are in. No password needed.
4. Check your profile. Open your B2B profile (us-shop.thomasdambo.com/b2b-profile in the US) and check that your company and contact details are correct (see the checklist below).
5. Check your shipping information. In the same profile, make sure the shipping address and delivery contact are correct before your first order. A wrong address is the most common reason for delays.
6. Order and reorder. Wholesale prices show as soon as you are logged in. Add to cart and check out. Past orders are saved in your profile, so a reorder takes a minute.

Profile & shipping checklist

Tick these off in your B2B profile before your first order.

Profile

• Legal business name is correct
• Billing address is correct
• Contact name, email and phone are correct
• Accounts payable email is filled in (where we send invoices)
• Resale certificate (US) is uploaded and not expired, or VAT number (EU) is filled in

Shipping

• Shipping address is complete: street number, suite or unit, city, state or region, zip or postal code, country
• Delivery contact name and phone are filled in
• Delivery notes are added if needed (loading dock, receiving hours, back entrance)

Something wrong or missing? Correct it in your B2B profile. If a field can’t be edited, email store@thomasdambo.com and we fix it.

Without a valid resale certificate or VAT number, sales tax or VAT is added at checkout. Resale certificates expire, so please upload the new one when yours is renewed.

Ordering, payment, shipping & tax

Ordering

• Order online any time. Email orders are no longer needed once your account is active.
• Minimum order: 20 books.
• Some titles are sold in full cartons. Carton size depends on the product, and the shop rounds up for you where this applies.
• Wholesale prices are the same for all B2B customers in each currency. Recommended retail prices are shown on each product.

Payment

• Card at checkout: available to all approved accounts.
• Invoice, Net 30: available on request for established accounts. We send the invoice by email after shipment, payable within 30 days.

Shipping

• US and Canada orders ship from our US warehouse. EU and rest-of-world orders ship from Denmark.
• Freight is calculated at checkout from weight and destination.
• Typical delivery: usually 3–7 working days within the region. Order early ahead of your peak season.
• Please check the parcel on arrival and report any damage or shortage within 7 days to store@thomasdambo.com.

Tax

• US: no sales tax with a valid resale certificate on file for the ship-to state.
• EU businesses outside Denmark: no VAT with a valid VAT number (reverse charge).
• Denmark and private buyers: VAT is added.

Books vs. your own merchandise

The B2B shop covers books and ready-made products made by Thomas Dambo Art. You buy them and resell them as they are.

Making your own products with troll artwork (T-shirts, magnets, coasters and the like) is different. It needs a merchandise licence agreement and approval of every design before production. Contact morten@thomasdambo.com to get started.

Please buy Thomas Dambo books only through the B2B shop or the source named in your agreement.

FAQ & contacts

Do we need to register?
New customers apply once at the B2B application page. If you already buy from us, your account is set up: log in with the email we have on file for you.

Can several colleagues use the account?
Use one shared login for now, or tell us and we add a second user.

I can’t see wholesale prices.
You are logged out. Log in at the B2B login with your email and six-digit code. Still no prices? Contact us.

Can we get a different price or terms?
Wholesale prices are standard for all B2B customers. Net 30 invoice terms are available for established accounts.
